Your role at Baxter: You will use machine shop equipment to fabricate parts for new and existing equipment and service and repair molds for injection molding. You have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. You understand building and strengthening relationships, maintain order and clear communication channels. What we offer from Day One * Shift flexibility to trade shifts and leverage overtime opportunities * Medical, Dental and Vision coverage * 160 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays * 401K match * Employee Stock Purchase Program * Paid Parental Leave * Tuition Reimbursement What you'll be doing: * Responsible for machining parts from blueprints and drawings using shop equipment - including lathe milling machines, grinders, drill press, and other equipment. * Disassemble, clean and reassemble injection molding molds. * Must fix and repair mechanical devices and equipment. * Must design replacement parts for production machinery. * Needs to be able to fix and repair electrical systems. * Must install new equipment and relocate equipment when vital. * Must perform modification of existing equipment. * Must analyze problems and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Must perform welding and sheet metal fabrication using arc and gas welder, metal saws, grinders, power shears, sheet metal break, precision measurement equipment and other shop tools. * Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety laws and stay in sync with said regulations accordingly. What you'll bring: * High school diploma or GED required. * Tool and die certification - (Technical school) * 3 years general maintenance experience in tool and die making or job shop related experience. * Ability to use hand tools, layout equipment, rotary table, all precision measuring tools, volt meters, drill press, surface grinder, metal lathe, milling machines, furnaces, welding and fabrication equipment and test equipment. * Should understand personal computers. * Should be familiar with CNC equipment. * Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. * Meet visual acuity requirements as detailed in Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more visible with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $56,000 - $77,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
