Job Description:
- Care for patients within the labor and delivery unit, including those who are 17 weeks gestation or more. - Oversee laboring patients, scheduled procedures, and triage-related issues. - Manage activities such as admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean). - Utilize common labor and delivery equipment including fetal monitors. - Use Cerner and Fetalink for documentation purposes. - Ensure the highest quality of patient care through a compassionate approach. - Collaborate effectively with the labor and delivery team to provide seamless patient care. - Maintain compliance with all nursing standard protocols and regulations.
