ARRT (CT) TEMP NH MIRT license Job Details
Facility will not consider locals who have permanent residency within 50 miles of Exeter Hospital. Positions and immobilizes patient on procedure table; using supportive devices to obtain precise patient position and following protocols specified by the Radiologist and performs scans. Administers contrast media orally and intravenously. Enters data such as type of scan requested; slice thickness; scan time and other technical data into the computer. Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures. Evaluates radiographs and computer generated information for technical quality. Demonstrates new techniques; equipment and procedures to staff. Implements and monitors radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff and compliance with government regulatory requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
2+ years CT Tech experience ARRT (CT) - required IV/Contrast injection experience TEMP NH MIRT license in effect!!! MUST be in possession of an out of state Imaging license in order to obtain Temp. non-licensed Imaging Tech will have to apply for the PERM NH MIRT license 2 separate supervisory references at submittal & MUST from within last 3 years of employment. 3 total required during onboarding Unit Specific Information
Equipment: GE Scanner & Siemens Somatom Definition AS Scanner Caseload: typically average 65-80 patients on Friday & 30-40 patients on Weekend days Patient Population: variety of Age Groups including increased volume of Elderly population Dress Code: Any color scrubs Additional Details
