The Investment Platform team was created in 2019 and is tasked with driving the vision and roadmap for a common technology platform to support our investors in generating insights and translating them into client portfolios. The team engages a broad community of investors with the objective of building the systems that can enable them and their teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. In direct collaboration with a team of technologists and user experience designers, you will be part of a highly visible team that has direct impact on the execution of our product roadmap and visionJob summary: As an Investment Platform Product Owner (Alternatives) Executive Director, on the Asset Management Investment Platform team you will lead the strategic development, decision making and execution of our Alternatives Investment technology plan (and to oversee, in partnership with key business stakeholders, business aligned technology products). You will oversee a mix of vendor, proprietary systems across a diverse set of underlying businesses and a range of senior stakeholders within the Alternatives space. You will drive strategic direction and ensure alignment with our long term technology vision and broader Investment Platform in a highly visible role.Job responsibilities:Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for the Alternatives LOB, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and stakeholder needs.Oversee and prioritize new and existing technology products, ensuring the products are strategically aligned and delivers maximum business value across the platform. Adapt to evolving user feedback and market trends.Lead strategic user research initiatives to deeply understand user needs and market dynamics. Translate insights into high-impact initiatives, user stories or requirements.Engage with stakeholders and other senior business and Product Owners to leverage existing capabilities and drive convergence on target state capabilities.Champion Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency within the Product, Development and UX teams.Collaborate with senior developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to refine features and initiatives. Ensure clear acceptance criteria and successful user validation.Strategically communicate product enhancements to stakeholders and users, ensuring successful adoption and continuous improvement. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:10+ years of experience in product management or ownership, with a proven track record in the financial services industryStrong experience within AlternativeAbility to set and drive a clear vision and strategy, with a focus on delivering significant user value and achieving business outcomes.Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and reconcile diverse user needs and priorities.Deep knowledge and experience with Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, at a leadership level.Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions.
