Administrative Assistant- Overland Park, KS

LHH is partnering with a client in the Insurance industry in Overland Park, KS area to fill their Administrative Assistant role.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting in accurate record-keeping & auditing documentation via proper filing & noting of accounts.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, that is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, fully onsite, offering around $20ph.
Our ideal candidate would have recently gained their Associates and/or bachelor’s degree, has at least 1-2+ years of admin/customer service experience, who is seeking growth in their professional career.

Responsibilities:
  • Aid in accurate record?keeping/audit preparation via proper filing and noting of accounts.
  • Assist the sales effort with phone calls, emails, etc. as needed.
  • Effective and clear communication with all departments
  • Assist in team projects/initiatives as needed.
  • Attend and contribute to department and agency?wide meetings/events.
  • .

Qualifications:
  • Recent associate or bachelor’s degree- REQUIRED.
  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Service, Administration, or related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
