Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with a background in civil litigation. The ideal candidate should possess strong advocacy skills, excellent academic credentials, and experience in handling discovery. California Bar admission is a prerequisite for this position.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings before state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and managing document review.
• Participate in case strategy development and collaborate with senior attorneys on case management.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Previous experience in civil litigation, preferably at a large law firm or civil litigation boutique.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality work product.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
