The Supply Chain Manager manages the daily operations and planning of the supply chain to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition, fulfill material requirements for volume and cost, and schedule business operations. Key Responsibilities Responsible for developing a process to check accuracy and post/disseminate departmental KPIs and vendor metrics. This includes analyzing current performance, identifying gaps in objectives, and developing and executing improvement plans that allow the business to meet or exceed targeted goals Lead coordination activities with internal departments that support the flow of materials movement and optimize the supply chain process Monitor the cost of materials and supplies against current budget requirements and develops future budget projections Manage the monitoring of suppliers and service providers for quality and performance, including negotiating pricing and service requirements Monitor operations and troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks Coordinate with all departments to ensure levels of inventory are adequately maintained, identify problems, and find solutions Maintain detailed supply chain records, generate reports, and develop presentations to aid management in understanding the movement of materials throughout the supply chain process Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field 5 years of experience serving in Supply Chain Management 1 year supervisory experience in Supply Chain Management Proven experience in independently managing and optimizing a supply chain A track record of managing vendor relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse partners Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before a group of suppliers or employees of the organization Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Preferred Qualifications NetSuite ERP experience 5 years experience in the manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry What we offer Base salary and bonus program Medical, dental, vision and life insurance effective on date of hire Generous 401(k) Plan Defined Contribution Plan Paid vacation and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career Qualifications Skills Behaviors : Motivations : Education Experience Licenses & Certifications Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
