Job Description

Assumptions:

It is expected that the contractor will be available to work predominantly Hybrid and is required to come to the office depending on business need.

Scope Of Work:

The scope of work includes providing Program management and oversight for the S/4 HANA transformation project and continuous improvement initiatives of medium scope and complexity. The IT Program Manager, SAP, will be responsible for leading and executing complex technology projects for the SAP ERP platform by actively interfacing with business and IT teams. This role is essential in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects while maintaining alignment with business goals and objectives. The position will collaborate with the PMO, Business and IT leadership team, stakeholders, business SMEs, functional leads, infrastructure team, and system integrators to ensure projects aligns with overarching program goals and benefits, and this role requires relevant cross-functional and technical knowledge, program/project leadership skills, presentation and communication competencies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and delivery teams.

Responsibilites:
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of SAP program phases, releases, and components. Responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project.
  • Ensure delivery of SAP program in alignment with client PMO delivery methodologies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, and coordinate cross-functional and technical work, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and task allocation.
  • Maintain regular interaction and communication with project stakeholders across multiple business units, including IT teams, and vendors, providing updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Schedule/facilitate meetings to provide project status/reviews as required to keep stakeholders adequately informed on project status.
  • Communicate any concerns with issues that may impact project schedule, budget or quality to the project sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Track and communicate status at both a detailed (task) level and a summary (sub project or release) level for a variety of audiences, from the project team to executive sponsorship.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (business and IT) to resolve conflicts in prioritization and staffing.
  • Track project issues and drive resolution.
  • Oversee change management processes, including training, documentation, and communication plans, to ensure a smooth transition for end-users.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes (such as attendees, items discussed, what changed, blockers, next steps, action items).
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews / retrospect to evaluate project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned.
  • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the standards, and procedures.
  • Overseeing the functional aspects of S/4HANA project, including cross-functional requirements.,
  • Overseeing the technical aspects of S/4HANA projects, including system architecture, integration, and data migration.
  • Ensuring that technical solutions align with business requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned..

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Experience with SAP as a Program Manager.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing projects of increasing complexity.
  • Ability to develop Experience engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management.
  • Hands on experience developing and implementing project plans including and not limited to scope, goals, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Proposer shall submit a one-page statement that describes and summarizes any skills or experience that qualifies the proposed Program Manager.
  • Proposer will provide a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of three (3) resumes and hourly rates for each Program Manager candidate available to start work immediately.


Technical Requirements:
  • Direct hands-on experience with SAP Program Management
  • Experience on SAP ECC, CRM and S/4 HANA
  • Direct hands-on experience using Microsoft Project, and Agile methodologies
  • Extensive understanding of different SAP modules including and not limited to SAP ISU, FI, CO,MM,SD,WM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Project, Outlook, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Project Management certification ( PMP or PMI-ACP)
  • SAP Application Certifications
  • Minimum 1 S/4 HANA implementation experience as a Program Manager
  • Minimum 2 major SAP transformation project experience as a Program Manager
  • Utility industry experience
