The Talent Development Manager is responsible for creating and implementing training and development strategies that foster employee growth, enhance skills, and increase employee retention. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership to ensure the development programs align with organizational goals and objectives.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a HYBRID role (3 days in office/2 remote per week) located near the Hobby Airport area of Houston, TX. Candidates must be local to the Houston area or be willing to relocate here to be considered.

Responsibilities:
  • Performance Planning & Goal Setting: Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals and objectives. Develop and communicate performance management policies and procedures. Ensure performance goals align with the organization's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Evaluation: Design and implement tools and processes for monitoring employee performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees and managers. Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Learning & Development: Design, develop, and implement learning and development programs with Linkedin Learning that enhance employee skills and capabilities and track employee progress.
  • Management Training: Facilitate training sessions using various methods, such as workshops, seminars, webinars, and one-on-one coaching. Oversee Management training program.
  • Talent Development: Identify training needs through performance reviews, employee surveys, and direct feedback. Assess talent gaps and create solutions. Create and manage leadership development programs to prepare employees for leadership roles.
  • Succession Planning: Work with senior leadership to develop succession plans and ensure key roles have qualified successors.
  • Employee Engagement: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs, measure employee satisfaction, and adjust strategies to ensure high engagement levels.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Provide coaching to managers and employees, guiding their professional growth and helping them achieve career goals.
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the talent development budget and track the ROI of training programs. Report on training effectiveness and employee development metrics to ensure trainings are meeting objectives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other departments and business leaders to ensure training programs meet business needs and strategic objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or a related HR role.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS).
  • Proficiency in performance management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Have the ability to travel about 25% of the time.


SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $115,000 plus annual bonus, 401k match, benefits etc...
