Duties and Responsibilities Case Management:
Manage a variety of financial restructuring and insolvency cases, including bankruptcy proceedings and complex litigation. Oversee multiple teams of attorneys and workstreams to ensure effective representation of clients. Conduct due diligence and analysis of corporate governance and financial structures.
Legal Research and Drafting:
Perform comprehensive legal and factual research related to financial restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy law. Draft disclosure statements, plans of reorganization, and corporate documents. Prepare persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and other court documents. Analyze complex capital structures and financial issues affecting client businesses.
Court Representation and Litigation:
Prepare for and participate in depositions, witness interviews, court hearings, and trials. Present legal arguments in court and communicate with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and agreements. Assist senior attorneys with litigation strategy and case management, providing support in high-stakes cases.
Client Interaction:
Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy, corporate governance, and restructuring. Communicate regularly with clients, addressing their concerns and adjusting strategies as needed. Assist in developing business strategies and preparing client pitches to secure new business.
Business Development:

Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. LLM or foreign equivalent degree is acceptable but not required.
Licensing:
