Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required
License: Current unencumbered RN license required
Certifications: - Healthcare Provider Level BLS - AHA ACLS - NIHSS
Must-Have: Specialty certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Job Description:
- Provide professional care for acutely ill adults and those requiring both emergent and elective surgeries. - Ensure the highest standards of care in the Medical-Surgical unit. - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals including nurse assistants. - Utilize EPIC for all electronic medical records. - Ensure coverage during holidays as required. - Adhere to policies and procedures to maintain a Level 4 trauma unit. - Engage in continuous professional development and learning opportunities.
