Consulting in Consumer banking, Retail banking, Payments Individual Contributor, willing to travel, pre-sales and sales responsibility attracting new business. Looking for experience in Payments, Commercial Banking, Retail banking domain with Consulting background. Role Summary: Seeking experienced Banking Consulting partner to drive client opportunities, sales, and revenue for BFS clients within North America. This role demands a blend of deep domain expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to craft compelling, client-focused proposals. Need someone who is a holistic banking expert with experience in consulting-led projects in various areas of banking like retail, wealth, corporate, payments, etc. Key Responsibilities: Sales Origination:

Originating and closing consulting deals for large banking and financial services clients in NA. Creating clear, persuasive proposals that highlight our value proposition and meet client requirements. Focus on Digital Transformation and large deals. Offering/GTM Development:

Develop deep understanding of our go-to-market strategy for practice offerings across process improvement, efficiency enhancement, analytics, intelligent automation and roadmap assessment. Develop content and personalize for sales support and contextualize solution offerings to regional market as applicable. Industry Thought Leadership:

Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep solutions relevant and competitive and share viewpoints in the wider banking community, with the ability to shape the agenda in the given domain. Delivery Execution:

Experienced in leading medium to large scale programs/projects. Minimum Requirements: 15+ years in Banking with a focus on IT solutions for banks. Previous management consultancy experience is a must; experience in a bank is preferable. Proficient in Retail Banking products (e.g., CASA accounts, Term Deposits, Mortgages, Motor Finance, Personal Loans). Good understanding of Corporate Banking products (e.g., Cash management, Trade Finance, Commercial Lending, Treasury, etc.). Knowledge of traditional Core Banking systems like Temenos/Finacle/Flexcube/FIS is preferable. Knowledge/awareness of traditional Corporate Banking systems like Finastra, nCino, Zafin, etc. Knowledge/awareness of Payments trends like Real-Time Payments, Digital Wallets, Open Banking ISO20022, etc. Should have handled large-scale digital transformation projects as Lead BA/SME/Lead Consultant. Thought leader within banking with active social media presence and authoring articles. Consulting Skills needed: Expertise in developing and presenting winning proposals. Strong project management skills, ensuring timely and budget-compliant solution delivery. Sharp problem-solving skills with a strategic approach. Expertise in working with NA client base. Clear, effective communicator, both written and verbal. Strong team player, adept at working with cross-functional teams. Skilled in building and sustaining strong client relationships. Understanding of digital enterprise architecture design approaches including MVP, patterns and principles of REST APIs, SOA, and microservices architecture. Ability to run design workshops for new product development, roadmap, process redesign, etc. Ability to think outside the box and influence clients to select best-in-class solutions. Educational Background: MBA or relevant certifications in Banking. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Required. 7+ years of Management Consulting or equivalent banking industry experience in a reputed institution. Deep Banking industry functional knowledge. Preferably should have worked for a Bank for at least 3-5 years. Previous consulting and sales experience preferred. Hands-on experience in different banking sub-domains like payments, cards, retail banking, transaction banking, wealth management, capital markets, etc. Awareness of technology trends and their impact on banking models and operations. Great communication and presentation skills are a must.
