Job Details

• Schedule: Weekends (Friday to Sunday)
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
• Skills Required:
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Post cardiac surgery care (not directly from the OR)
  • Assist with chest tube insertion/removal
  • Care of ventilated patients
  • Pacer/temp pacer/transvenous pacer
• Skills Preferred: Lumbar drain
• Average Daily Census: 1-8 patients
• On Call: 4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Floating: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Total Staffed Beds/Rooms: 8
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Charting System: Cerner/med connect
• Communication: SBAR / shift note
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Health Requirements: Flu vaccine mandatory
• Safety Note: May come into contact with COVID-19 patients
