Description and Requirements
The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Utilizes a variety of resources both external and internal sources to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Confers with hiring managers to determine the required skills and experience for the position as well as coordinate interview appointments, feedback discussions, and candidate selections.
- Facilitates the execution of the organization's recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
- Serves as company liaison to candidates, presenting a positive company image.
- Ensures candidate is engaged throughout the hiring process, fostering a positive, professional interview experience for candidates.
- Utilizes traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts for immediate and future needs.
- Maintains all supporting records and data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Helps guide and mentor junior Talent Acquisition staff.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 6+ years of technical recruiting experience.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Avature preferred.
- Experience with Job Boards required (Monster, Clearance Jobs, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- DoD recruiting experience highly preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required.
