Job Details
We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join a full-service mechanical, electrical and temperature controls contractor located in the Detroit area.
Under general supervision, maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, services, and equipment. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all electrical fixtures at all customer sites. Candidates should have extensive experience handling, installing, and fixing electrical systems. Ideal candidates will need to have excellent organization and customer relations skills.
Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems Troubleshoot current electrical system issues Ability to read and interprets drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems Deliver outstanding customer service Maintain accurate records of service calls
Requirements: Valid State Journeyman Electrician License Knowledge of electrical systems Ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously High school diploma or equivalent Must hold a valid driver’s license Pass a pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle check
