Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing a stimulating work environment where creativity and ingenuity are highly valued. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cable sizing, flow diagrams, diagrams, and NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79. A Licensed PE is preferred.
Responsibilities: As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, and improving electrical instruments and equipment. 2. Inspecting completed projects to ensure conformance with design standards. 3. Applying principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. 4. Conducting field surveys and studying maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems. 5. Developing and reviewing electrical engineering plans and studies. 6. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials. 7. Working with a variety of stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other engineers. 8. Ensuring all electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization’s established policies and objectives. 9. Utilizing advanced techniques for cable sizing, creating flow diagrams and diagrams, and understanding and applying NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Electrical Engineer role will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field. 3. Proficiency in cable sizing, flow diagrams, diagrams, and NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79. 4. Licensed PE is preferred. 5. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes. 6. Ability to apply the principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. 7. Excellent decision making and leadership capabilities. 8. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests. 9. Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems. 10. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
