Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma and Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or possession of an AA degree or higher; or verification of having obtained a passing score on a district-approved proficiency assessment. Knowledge of basic instructional methods and classroom management techniques; subjects including arithmetic, reading, writing, grammar and spelling; educationally related hardware and software tools. This position will require working with our special education department. Current RJUHSD employees interested in a lateral transfer or promotion must submit an application through EDJOIN for consideration. Current RJUHSD Paraeducators are encouraged, but not required to submit a letter of recommendation, resume, and letter of introduction. Current RJUHSD Paraeducators do not need to submit proof of higher education.
