Summer 2025 Engineering Internship
Micro Systems Engineering has internship opportunities for self-motivated, strategic-thinking, engineering students. This hands-on opportunity will allow students to utilize their skills and training in a practical environment alongside our team of innovative engineers. Candidates must have an entrepreneurial mind with a passion for working in a company that is focused on improving patients' lives.
We offer a rewarding paid internship program that will provide valuable experiences to enhance your academic and professional career. We provide a wide breadth of opportunities working within our design, development, research and manufacturing engineering organizations. This 3-4 month project-based intern program is open to junior, senior or post graduate students and provides hands-on experience working with medical devices that save and improve the quality of life for patients worldwide.
Responsibilities
Specific project responsibilities vary, but may include: Working with automated/robotic manufacturing and/or test equipment. Researching and developing automation options for reporting, testing, data analysis, etc. Project management responsibilities including task definition, timeline and resource planning, budget monitoring, and task assignment / delegation and more! Requirements
Motivated individual working towards B.S. or M.S.in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, quality engineering, materials science biomedical engineering, supply chain, or similar. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills including both verbal and written. Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting while also excelling in independent work. Must have current U.S. work authorization. MSEI does not sponsor work authorization for summer intern positions. Applicants requiring future sponsorship (e.g., E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN visas) now or in the future are not eligible. Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time and communicate with co-workers. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours / week.
