Responsibilities Job Function - General: Gathers and analyzes technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality. Works with product/customer (i.e., higher level) requirements to refine them into more detailed (lower level) requirements & development specifications. Writes detailed descriptions of hardware/software architecture, interfaces, etc. using information from engineering team and other sources. Exercises product/code through testing activities in order to verify technical accuracy of documentation Assists in the development of thorough Instructions for Use and other product labeling & customer-facing communications for active device products Assists in the development of R&D-owned application notes, white papers - Attends project meetings to capture information that may impact documentation. Assists in the review and modification of operating procedures to improve departmental processes related to documentation generation, maintenance, review & approval workflows. Assists in the generation and maintenance of product Design History Files and helps maintain electronic documentation repository The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
