We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a passion for financial auditing, accounting, and financial reporting. You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries such as government, manufacturing, real estate, and high net worth individuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a role where no two days are the same, presenting unique challenges and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Audit Senior, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing financial audits for a diverse range of clients. 2. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their business operations, processes, and functions. 3. Identifying scope changes and adjusting audit plans accordingly. 4. Preparing and presenting financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards. 5. Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and records, evaluating internal controls, and testing financial transactions. 6. Preparing cost budgets for audit engagements and monitoring performance against budget. 7. Advising clients on financial reporting and compliance matters. 8. Utilizing advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. 9. Ensuring compliance with government regulations and benefit plans.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Senior role will have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial auditing, accounting, and financial reporting. 3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards and experience in preparing financial reports. 4. Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. 5. Experience in working with diverse industries such as casinos, government, manufacturing, real estate, and high net worth individuals. 6. Familiarity with government regulations and benefit plans. 7. Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
