Job Details
Job Details: As a Plant Controller, you will play a critical role in driving and supporting our business by managing the financial aspects of our plant operations. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and other regulations. This position will require you to leverage your expertise in manufacturing to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Responsibilities: Lead all financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the plant, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key trends and variances to senior management. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and other regulations, and manage audit processes. Manage capital expenditure (CapEx), including planning, budgeting, tracking, and reporting. Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies, using your expertise in manufacturing and industrial operations. Conduct variance analysis and variance reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and drive decision-making. Partner with plant management to develop strategies to improve profitability and cash flow. Manage the plant's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems to improve financial operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and other regulations. Proven experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Strong experience with capital expenditure (CapEx) management. Experience with public accounting and ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
