Are you a finance enthusiast with a knack for numbers and a passion for details? If so, we have a thrilling opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accounting Analyst to join our team. This is a Contract-to-Hire position where you will play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations, providing critical insights that help shape our strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Analyst, your primary duties will include:
1. Executing monthly and yearly financial close procedures, including reconciliations and variance analysis. 2. Managing company fixed assets and inventory, ensuring accurate valuation and proper classification. 3. Preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to management, providing insights and recommendations based on your findings. 4. Utilizing SAP for various accounting operations and financial management. 5. Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze financial data, create complex financial models, and generate reports. 6. Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. 7. Performing financial accounting tasks, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. 8. Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, forecast future performance, and advise on potential risks and opportunities. 9. Collaborating with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Analyst role or similar position, preferably in the Manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in financial software, particularly SAP and Microsoft Excel. 4. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and financial analysis techniques. 5. Exceptional skills in reconciliations, variance analysis, fixed assets, and inventory management. 6. Experience in month-end close procedures and financial report preparation. 7. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. 8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner. 9. Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and precision. 10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
