We are looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager to lead, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects for the Enterprise Project Management Office . This role will oversee and direct complex enterprise-wide corporate initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups across various organizational work streams utilizing Agile methodology.
Responsibilities:
Actively plan and manage large-scale Waterfall or Agile projects around scheduled program increments, milestones, scope, cost, resource health, and risks. Own project finances, including timing implications and key payment dates, while proactively reporting status and creating scorecards. Lead and contribute to vendor selection and procurement activities under program manager guidance. Prepare key documents, present business cases, and produce reports as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to bring projects through project funding conversations and initiation ceremonies.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Required Skills:
5 years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional, technical systems implementation. Strong Financial/Budget Management ability, including comprehension of project financials and the ability to create and manage project budgets. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to successfully lead in a matrixed environment. Government IT Project management experience preferred. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) PMI preferred. SAFe Scrum Master Certification preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. They should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate positively with internal and external stakeholders.
Pay Range:
$70 - $83/hr.
