Hospitalist

position, to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital- Leominster Campus, MA, a full-service acute care community hospital, located in beautiful Central Massachusetts, approximately 50 minutes from Boston and 25 minutes from Worcester. An ideal location, close to skiing in New Hampshire, beaches and within an easy drive from major airports. The Leominster campus, a member hospital of The UMass Memorial Health System, is a 135-bed community hospital, with a regional cancer center, a complimentary care center, outpatient physician therapy centers, and a home health and hospice agency. The Hospitalist Service is primarily staffed by the Umass Hospitalist group. Department of Hospital Medicine at Reliant Medical Group is expanding its presence at Leominster Hospital, with an emphasis on providing value-based care for our Reliant Group patients admitted there. It utilizes a 7 on/ 7 off block schedule, working closely with the Umass hospitalist group. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing physician-led care locally. Position Highlights

Day shift Hospitalist within HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster Campus

Provide inpatient care for a patient mix of 80% Reliant Medical Group patients and 20% non-Reliant patients

Manage an average daily census of 16 patients

Day shift schedule

7 days on, 7 days off (Monday – Sunday)

26 working weeks per year, totaling 182 shifts annually

Dedicated night MD coverage in place

Required Qualifications

BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts

Active DEA License

Experience working within a Team Care model

Fluency in EMR systems & technology
