Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our 3rd shift team in the Finance industry. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our high-tech financial equipment. This is a permanent role that offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical and electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Develop, implement, and monitor programs that drive year-over-year increases in safety and ergonomics and reductions in workplace accidents and injuries. Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting to maintain automated systems. Use precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet specified standards. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and provide timely solutions. Participate in continuous improvement activities, learning, and applying lean methods and contribute to the identification and elimination of waste.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a similar industry. Proficiency in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical systems, electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools. Excellent understanding of industrial control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Solid organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus. Must be able to work 3rd shift and weekends, if necessary. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals. Commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
