Job Details

SUMMARY: As our Senior Electrical Engineer you will be a technical lead for designers and drafters. You will work directly with customers to answer any questions and conduct research for codes as required.

MUST HAVES: Sizing Generators, Lighting Design, Power Distribution Layouts, Sizing Switch Boards Revit, Autocad Building Systems Design

NICE TO HAVE: SKM Power Tools PE Registration. Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare, or Aviation projects. LEED AP certification (preferred but not required).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design effort on both large and small projects. Manage design schedules and oversee design team members. Collaborate directly with Architects and Owners. Conduct preliminary evaluations of projects. Prepare various reports and meeting minutes. Produce design documents, including drawings and specifications. Travel for projects both nationally and internationally as required. Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to applicable codes, company standards, and project requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 7+ years of experience in Electrical Design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and coordination/arc flash studies. Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Strong knowledge of Building Codes, applicable NFPA Codes, and Energy Codes. Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
