We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Tax Manager to join our thriving Finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional eager to apply their expertise in tax law, accounting, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including tax preparation, planning, compliance, and accounting.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax accounting and compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring timely submission. 2. Conducting thorough tax research to stay abreast of changing tax laws and regulations, and ensuring the company's compliance with these changes. 3. Utilizing financial software to prepare accurate financial statements and reports. 4. Applying your knowledge of tax law to develop effective tax planning strategies that minimize liabilities and maximize profits. 5. Collaborating with the finance team to analyze financial data and make strategic financial decisions. 6. Providing expert advice on tax-related matters to the management team and other stakeholders. 7. Coordinating with external auditors and managing tax audits as required. 8. Ensuring the company's adherence to the latest accounting standards and regulations. 9. Providing financial services support as needed, including but not limited to, financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Tax Manager role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred. 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. 3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar position in the finance industry. 4. In-depth knowledge of tax law, tax accounting, and tax compliance. 5. Proven experience in tax preparation and planning, as well as preparing financial statements. 6. Familiarity with financial software and strong computer skills. 7. Exceptional financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic financial decisions. 8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax-related information clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders. 9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 10. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. 11. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
