Job Details

As a Litigation Associate, you will be expected to:

1. Manage all aspects of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. 2. Conduct extensive, detailed research to build strong cases and to advise on potential litigation risks. 3. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. 4. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses. 5. Conduct and defend depositions. 6. Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys and partners. 7. Participate in dispute resolution and mediations, negotiating settlements when beneficial. 8. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on their cases. 9. Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments relevant to our practice.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar. 3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on dispute resolution, mediation, and depositions. 4. Proven experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation. 5. Excellent research and analytical skills, allowing for the development of case strategies. 6. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution. 7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. 8. The ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines. 9. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of legal and ethical integrity.
