We are seeking

an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to become part of our team. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of CT Litigation/Personal Injury practice experience

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Handle all aspects of personal injury cases from inception to resolution. 2. Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, and motions. 3. Communicate and negotiate with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues. 4. Liaise with health care professionals to obtain medical records and other necessary documentation. 5. Conduct extensive client interviews to gather and document detailed information. 6. Review and analyze medical records to build strong cases. 7. Coordinate and attend depositions, hearings, and mediations. 8. Prepare subpoenas and coordinate with witnesses for trial. 9. Perform e-filing of court documents as required. 10. Ensure all case files are complete and all evidence is properly documented and organized. 11. Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and managing evidentiary issues. 12. Negotiate with Medicare and other lien holders. 13. Assist with Trial Preparation and maintain/update case lists.

Qualifications Previous Litigation experience a must Knowledge of CT Court Rules and practice (Knowledge of NY Court procedures a PLUS) 2+ years experience Bilingual - English and Spanish a plus
