Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. 2. Coordinating all audit activities. 3. Leading budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites. 4. Implementing and managing all financial and accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. 5. Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines. 6. Leveraging insights from financial reporting systems to drive business improvement. 7. Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report. 8. Implementing operational best practices. 9. Supervising acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions. 10. Working closely with leadership to formulate the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required. 2. Proven experience as a Controller or similar role with 7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience. 3. Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures. 4. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. 5. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, Sage Intacct preferred. 6. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. 7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results. 8. Knowledge of auditing practices and principles. 9. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data. 10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 11. Attention to detail and accuracy. 12. Ability to direct and supervise.
