Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role requires a strong accounting background, along with hands-on experience in manufacturing, ERP systems, general ledger management, inventory accounting, and financial planning & analysis (FP& A). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the strategic financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger & Financial Reporting:
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other entries related to the manufacturing process.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory accounting processes, including cycle counting, valuation, and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Ensure proper costing of inventory and accurate financial reporting of inventory levels in line with industry standards and company policies.
  • Manufacturing Accounting:
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, ensuring that all financial transactions related to production are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand cost structures, production schedules, and inventory requirements.
  • FP& A (Financial Planning & Analysis):
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis between budgeted and actual results.
  • Support strategic financial decision-making by providing actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Compliance & Auditing:
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.


  • Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Implementation experience a plus
  • Experience with general ledger functions, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost accounting.
