ChristianaCare’s Psychosocial Oncology department at the Helen .F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute is actively hiring for a Full Time Psychologist.
The Psychologist will be an essential part of the team providing direct psychosocial services to cancer patients and their family members/caregivers. Additional responsibilities include working with a team in support of efforts to continue developing programs for patients, providers, and community members; supervision and mentorship of psychologists in training; and building collaborative relationships with clinical staff at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute at Christiana Care.
This position will also provide teaching to psychology trainees, and/or other students for clinical rotation.

Key Responsibilities
Provides evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy related to health issues for people with cancer and caregivers in the ambulatory, multidisciplinary, integrated, and acute care settings as assigned.
Works as a member of multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute services. Participates in team management of patients and consults on psychosocial issues relevant to treatment.
Presents to colleagues, staff, and community groups on issues relevant to psycho-oncology and behavioral medicine.
Attends tumor conferences and interdisciplinary meetings as needed/assigned to support optimum clinical care delivery
Maintains confidentiality of department and patient information.
Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to late adolescent, adult patients, including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed.
Performs other related duties as required.
Position Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution required.
At least 1-year of clinical experience required with experience in psycho-oncology or health psychology preferred.
Pre-doctoral internship from an APA-accredited site
Eligible for license in Delaware.
PSYPACT obtained or eligibility required.
License-eligible or licensed in PA, MD, and/or NJ preferred.
