About the facility A Geriatrics facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location The facility is located in Rural Retreat, Virginia. About the clinician's workday This position is a one-week role for a Physician Assistant, working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call responsibilities. The facility serves geriatric patients, with an average of 20-22 patients per day (3 per hour). Candidates must have a VA license and DEA certification. Support staff includes an MD (on-site one day per week), a Director of Nursing, administrative staff, LPNs, and CNAs. The EMR systems used are Point Click Care and Gerimed.
