Job Title: Echocardiographer Job Specialty: Echo Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM, 8.00 hours Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Experienced sonographer in adult transthoracic echocardiography and stress echo License: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Skilled in Neonate, Pediatric, and Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography - Proficient in Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography - Experience with Adult Stress Echocardiography (Exercise Dobutamine) - Knowledge of Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (e.g., Definity) and Microcavitation Studies - Familiarity with Philips IE33, Philips Epic, Siemens SC2000, Mckesson, Cerner/Radnet, Allscripts, Arcport Job Description: - Perform and interpret adult transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echoes. - Rotate between outpatient and inpatient settings as needed. - Collaborate with medical staff to provide diagnostic and treatment information. - Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation during weekdays and weekends. - Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment. - Adhere to best practices and maintain patient safety and confidentiality. - Wear provided eggplant scrubs in line with dress code policy. - Work expected 40 hours weekly, including some weekend hours.
