Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Alabama

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Location: Alabama Type of Facility: Hospital Length of Assignment: 13 weeks Start Date : Immediately Work Schedule : 4 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), alternating between Mon-Thurs and Tues-Fri Roles and Responsibilities: - Perform quality control procedures in the morning - Conduct quality assurance during dose administration - Prepare and administer radioactive drugs - Implement safety procedures to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure - Capture images using PET/CT equipment - Handle 7-10 procedures per shift - Work with patients of all ages - Utilize Cerner EMR system and McKesson PACS - Operate Symbia Siemens Intevo equipment Requirements: - Travel experience highly preferred - Required certifications: NMTCB or ARRT (NM), BLS Barton Healthcare Staffing is excited to work with you Apply now to learn more about this exciting role.
