Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join a team that provides high-quality assembly services to some of the biggest names in Agriculture, Transportation, and Power Generation. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will build repeatable sub-assemblies, tanks, and run hoses. You will work off of blueprint diagrams, use hand and power tools, and perform complete rework on equipment. You will also maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Responsibilities Build repeatable sub-assemblies for customers, primarily for New Flyer and other bus companies. Build tanks, run hoses, and pressure test tanks. Work off of blueprint diagrams. Use hand and power tools to remove, repair, and assemble parts. Perform complete rework on equipment. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Inspect the quality of assembled parts and components. Kit products and prepare components for installation. Essential Skills 2 years of mechanical assembly experience. 2 years of experience using power tools and hand tools. Experience in mechanical assembly in either the automotive or agriculture sectors. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on farm equipment. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, schematics, overhead cranes, and gearboxes. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a manufacturing facility where various components are assembled for different companies, including New Flyer, other bus companies, box truck companies, heaters, and blankets. The warehouse occupies about half of the building, and everything is organized on shelves in boxes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional extended hours until 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
