IT Engineering Lead

IT Engineering LeadKey Role:Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows-based systems and networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security and system administration. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and Program Manager. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft Windows and networking. Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows and networkingExperience with network design, implementation, and troubleshootingKnowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows ServerTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information TechnologyAdditional Qualifications: Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware a plusExperience with scripting and automation such as PowerShellExperience with project managementKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices and toolsKnowledge of ITIL framework and practicesPossession of strong problem-solving and analytical skillsPossession of excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skillsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plusClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
