Senior Technical Program Manager - Autonomous Vehicles Platform

We are looking for a creative and experienced Technical Program Manager to help us bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. We have customers, and competition.What you'll be doing:Lead multiple, concurrent complex programs & projectsManage automotive software development and releases in a highly dynamic environmentCollaborate with engineering teams to identify and develop roadmaps, schedules, milestones as part of the development work. Coordinate and plan software launches across components with multiple program/engineering managers who own individual components.Handle risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.Identify and manage multi-functional dependencies proactivelyCommunicate with stakeholders regularly to manage expectations and to provide timely updates on progress, risks, decisionsWhat we need to see:BS/MS Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of recent Technical Program Management experience driving the planning and delivery of software engineering programs, and releasing commercial productsProven track record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects, process improvements in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations.Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodology.Ways to Stand Out From The Crowd:Familiarity with embedded systems.Experience in Automotive system integration.Background in optimally leading global projects across time zonesExperience with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortable mentoring an engineering team how to use these tools and execute with agilityPMP, Scrum Master certification.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers with some of the most forward-thinking and dedicated people in the world working here.
