Here is what you will be doing as part of the team:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for materials management, inventory control and shipping/receiving at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships. The ultimate goal of this role is to successfully manage the daily operations of all facets of the Warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct activities of the Warehouse.
- Serve as the primary lead for all pick-up, shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Ensure Company vehicles and equipment are maintained on a regular basis according to manufacturer specifications.
- Direct and participate in the bin location maintenance of all areas of the Facility.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to Warehouse personnel to ensure safe and proper movement/handling of any product.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards, policies, and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- As directed by Sales Center Manager, responsible for inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years Warehouse operational experience within the HVAC industry and product lines associated with HVAC, preferably in the operations of a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house.
- Proficient knowledge in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level preferred.
- Proven success in purchasing and inventory management.
- Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
- A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
- Mechanical or Technical background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred/required.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
