Qualifications: 7+ years’ experience with Pump Stations, Treatment Plants and Public Works 4-year degree - Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
As a Construction WWTP Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for project management methodology on Heavy Civil WWTP/Pump Station projects.
Experience must include:
Budget development Managing cost and "Work In Progress" projections. Managing job site supervisory personnel. Planning and scheduling the project. Developing and maintaining owner relations. Negotiating and purchasing materials. Establishing and enforcing job site safety expectations. Managing overall project costs. Overseeing labor projections. Contract negotiation and administration.
The following additional Self-Perform Experience is a PLUS: Process Mechanical/Process Piping Concrete structures Roadways, wet/dry utilities, drainage, structures. site work.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written. Possesses in-depth knowledge of project goals, drivers, strategies, risks, and opportunities. Work requires verbal skills, and the ability to interact with varying levels of staff, as well as vendors. Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients. Ability to deal with many people and process a large volume of requests as necessary. Good personal computer skills including advanced knowledge in the use of MS Word and Excel. Demonstrates organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
