Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the performance of our Taunton warehouse and related operations. This includes supervising all warehouse personnel, responsibility for inventory management, and coordination of required maintenance for facility items. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all work pertaining to product production is performed properly, internal procedures are followed, and external deliveries are completed accurately, while enforcing rules and regulations associated with the facility. This position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and additionally making sure the warehouse is following all safety protocols. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervising all warehouse employees
  • Responsible for maintaining warehouse time off requests, and approving within company payroll system
  • Oversee all daily tasks of warehouse shifts and employees
  • Works with the Lube Administrator to ensure documentation by shift is complete and accurate
  • Manage the cleaning, repairing, and/or maintenance of machinery and equipment in the facility
  • Review completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Strictly enforce all company safety policies in the warehouse
  • Work with Taunton Warehouse leads ensuring all deadlines are being met for production, receiving, loading, and equipment maintenance
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining warehouse supplies (drums, shrink wrap, pails)
  • Oversee oil sample program compliance for established supplier accounts as well as internal sample procedure. This includes working with lube admin to ensure compliance with Receipt of Goods (ROG) paperwork/tracking.
  • Coordinate and organize physical inventory count teams on the warehouse floor quarterly based on fiscal year. (July 31, October 31, January 31, April 30)
  • Work with the Lube Administrator to complete specific tasks on the warehouse floor and provide on demand inventory counts as needed
  • Responsible for monthly box truck inspections (box floor, walls, outside compartments)
  • Manage the truck wash schedule at the Taunton facility for all lubricant vehicles
  • Coordinate with Safety to identify topics for scheduled warehouse safety meeting
  • Responsible for weekly cycle counts
  • Provide employee training as required, and shift coverage as needed
  • Supervise and work with the Saco Warehouse lead to maintain correct weekly inventory levels
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience leading operational teams
  • Must hold a current/active Hoisting license
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and time management skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Awareness of all safety protocols and standards
  • Strong organization skills
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of the organization
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with employees and customers
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (word/excel), etc.
  • Possess basic understanding of barcoding processes
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to occasionally bend, stand, walk, climb, push, pull, reach
  • Able to work with all shifts once a month
  • Able to lift 50lbs frequently, and up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer including keyboard, mouse, and other equipment

Supervisory Responsibility

Will supervise all warehouse shifts and employees. The Warehouse Supervisor may have fiscal responsibilities. This position reports to an Executive Team Member.

Work Environment
May be exposed to varied temperatures at times (heat/cold). May be subjected to loud noises, hazardous materials/chemicals, running machinery.
