Job Description
We are recruiting for an Accounting Clerk to join a thriving entrepreneurial Sacramento based organization with operations in multiple states. Our client is a successful manufacturing distribution company that is committed to succession planning and offers opportunities for employee growth. The Accounting Clerk will assist with daily financial tasks to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and general data entry. 100% onsite. Pay: $25-$27/hour DOE.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Contact vendors to resolve billing problems and requests and research past due invoices.
- May prepare special reports and analysis as directed.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and field personnel.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role in an accounting department.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive professional customer service manner in dealing with others.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented and be able to work with numbers at a fast pace.
