Accounting talent is in high demand! We are looking for Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable clerks to work in both large manufacturing settings, and local accounting offices. You will support the accounting, and finance teams with general ledger support, account reconciliation, and with client correspondence!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review journal entries, ensure accuracy of financial records, and reconcile accounts as needed.
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Oversee daily accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Support the budgeting process by providing historical data and financial analysis to inform company forecasting models.
Assist with the internal and external audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including preparing reports and submissions.
Work closely with other departments, such as operations and management.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency improvements in accounting systems and practices, suggesting enhancements where applicable.
Compliance & Controls: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and internal control policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred, but not required).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with financial analysis and preparing reports for management is a plus.
Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
