Position Summary:We are looking for a motivated, outgoing candidate to join our phlebotomy team to assist us in providing the best patient laboratory experience. As one of our team members you will provide support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory. As part of providing courteous and friendly service daily with multiple patients, we expect that you will maintain a professional image in appearance, conduct, and balance team and individual responsibilities, to contributes to a positive work environment. Because you will interact with all ranges of patients and co-workers you must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively. Employee scrub allowance is given upon hire.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform laboratory specimen collection on all patient age groups in the Spanish Fork and Salem locations.
  • Assist with receptionist and clerical duties as needed.
  • Assist with stocking and ordering supplies.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds routinely and stand for long periods of time.
  • Specimen processing for testing and shipment to reference laboratory testing.
  • Adherence to policies and procedures associated with the position.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an accredited medical vocational institution with phlebotomy course diploma and/or previous experience.
  • Certified phlebotomist preferred.
  • Previous phlebotomy work experience preferred.

Hours:Employees must be able to rotate through ALL the different shifts listed below on a weekly basis and Saturdays as needed: Shift 1: 6:45AM-3:15 PM Mon-Fri Shift 2: 8:00AM-5:00PM Mon-Fri Shift 3: 9:30 AM-6:00PM Mon-Fri Orem: 7:45AM - 5:00PM Mon-Fri Womens Center 8:30AM 5:00PM. Closed weekends and all major holidays.
