Overview:

Job Summary:

A Lobby Public Space Attendant at Black Desert Resort is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the resorts lobby and other public areas. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and ensures that all public spaces are clean, welcoming, and reflect the high standards of the resort.

Job Specification:

Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time & Part Time / Weekends / Holidays

Pay Range: $17.50 - $19.50 / hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, corridors, restrooms, and other public areas.
  • Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in public spaces.
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and tissues in public restrooms.
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager or relevant department.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks in public areas as required.
  • Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.


Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial role in a hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges.


Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $17.50/Hr. - $19.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
