What You'll Do!
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for providing timely and secure delivery of cannabis products to customers while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong emphasis on customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to customers in accordance with delivery schedules.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions and legal requirements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during the delivery process.
- Answer customer questions and address concerns effectively.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Stay informed about the variety of cannabis products offered and be able to provide information to customers upon delivery.
- Ensure the accuracy of delivered products and quantities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols during the delivery process.
- Comply with local and state regulations governing the delivery of cannabis products.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
- Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Report any vehicle issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any necessary documentation.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with deliveries to the appropriate management personnel.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customer service, and other team members.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their deliveries and any potential delays.
- Follow security protocols to safeguard products during transit and delivery.
- Be aware of and report any potential security threats.
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding the delivery of cannabis products.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions securely.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for Extended Periods: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as the position involves being on your feet for most of the workday.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of products, boxes, or supplies, and assist with inventory management and restocking.
- Reaching and Bending: Must be able to reach, bend, and squat to access products on shelves, display cases, or storage areas, both at ground level and higher shelves.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle cash, credit card transactions, and inventory products with precision. You'll also need to be able to open and close containers or packaging, label products, and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Climbing or Stooping: Occasional use of ladders or step stools may be required to access products on high shelves.
- Walking: Must be able to walk around the dispensary, assisting customers, checking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Clear Vision and Hearing: Must have good vision to accurately read labels, process transactions, and ensure product details are clear. Good hearing is necessary for communication with customers and team members in a busy environment.
- Adaptability to Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, adjusting to fluctuating customer flow and tasks throughout the day
