About the team

The Recruiting Operations team at Stripe is a dynamic, cross-functional group dedicated to enhancing our hiring capacity while elevating our talent standards. We prioritize speed and simplicity in our recruitment processes, ensuring we can swiftly identify and secure top talent. Our team handles everything except direct candidate interaction-managing capacity modeling, executive recruiting programs, handling interview scheduling at scale, designing and executing on branding and recruiting events, and driving improvements in recruiting technology. Together, we are shaping a more efficient and effective hiring experience at Stripe.

What you'll do

We're looking for a senior analyst who will help our Recruiting team to operate effectively and win in a competitive talent marketplace. You'll play a leadership role across a diverse set of Recruiting's highest priority initiatives to position the Recruiting team for success over a multi-year time horizon.

Examples of projects this individual may lead include partnering with Finance to build recruiting capacity models, working with Data Science to develop hiring forecasts, consulting with Recruiting Leaders to set function- and team-level OKRs, or overhauling existing processes to drive efficiencies in our hiring process.

Responsibilities

* Lead Recruiting capacity modeling and hiring forecasting for all of Stripe

* Contribute to interviewer demand analyses and forecasts

* Play a key role in Recruiting-wide, team-level, and individual goal setting processes

* Identify efficiency opportunities, set targets, and execute interventions to drive improvements in Stripe's hiring process

* Work with Recruiting management to operationalize headcount release and hiring delivery

* Co-develop reports and dashboards for tracking progress relative to plan

* Contribute to Recruiting's multi-year technology roadmap

* Become a trusted collaborator to partner teams in Finance, People Analytics, and Systems

* Work closely with and as an extension of Stripe's Global Recruiting Leadership team

Who you are

Minimum requirements

* 10+ years working in strategy & operations or management consulting (Recruiting Operations experience is a plus)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders and build trust with senior leaders

* Strong organizational and operational skills, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

* Led recruiting capacity planning and hiring forecasting efforts

* Developed a broader vision that has company-wide impact and is effective at enacting this vision by working with a number of teams.

* You have served as a global thinker on matters of recruiting and strategy, devising new plans and optimizing existing operations to meet established plans and metrics.

* Worked closely with Recruiting leaders and partnered with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, People Partners, People Analytics and Systems

* Developed function-level technology roadmaps

* Played a leadership role in function- and company-level goal setting

* Experience working with third-party systems and vendors, preferably within an HR or Recruiting context

* You identify and guide solutions for problems that span multiple teams, even when the solutions to those problems are not initially clear to anyone.

* A demonstrated track record of process improvement

* A bias toward automation and efficiency

* Experience with multiple data analysis and visualization tools; Tableau experience is a plus(but not a requirement)

Preferred qualifications

* You enjoy working collaboratively across People, Finance, and Systems teams to create scalable solutions

* You've had exposure to enterprise workforce planning

* You have a proven track record of partnering with and influencing senior leaders

* You've implementing technology or operating model changes to improve efficiency

* You have a bias towards action and an ability to iterate towards an end state

* You enjoy building for scale

* You can bring structure to ambiguity and drive predictable, repeatable outcomes

* You set an example of the standard of your team's work and push others towards greater achievement.

* You influence the medium to long term plans and direction of adjacent teams and functions.

* You're able to navigate and take responsibility for complex team and cross-functional dynamics.

Hybrid work at Stripe

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $174,300 - $261,500. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
