Job Description
By the Sea Resorts is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for our Radisson Panama City Beach Oceanfront location. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas. They lead a team of housekeepers, overseeing daily operations to guarantee a comfortable and pleasant environment for guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor must be able to manage staff effectively, resolve problems quickly and efficiently, and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a pristine environment that exceeds guest expectations.

Responsibilities
- Directly oversee the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and janitors.
- Create work schedules and assign specific cleaning duties to staff members, ensuring efficient coverage and completion of tasks.
- Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and hotel standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and compliance with hotel standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Coordinate orders and replenishments as needed to support daily operations.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally. Take appropriate actions to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of room status, cleaning activities, and maintenance requests. Prepare reports on departmental performance and operational metrics as required.
- Develop and implement new housekeeping procedures and policies
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
