Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant

Job Opportunity: Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Occupational Health Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) for an exciting opportunity in Occupational Health. This role offers both locum tenens and locum-to-perm opportunities, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Details:

• Start Date : February 7, 2025, with ongoing coverage needs.

• Reason for Coverage : To support two Hampton Roads clinics during provider time off or while a position is vacant.

• Practice Setting : Occupational Health.

• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to close (typically 4:30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries).

• Average Patients Per Day : 8-10.

• EMR System : Systoc.

• Number of Exam Rooms : 5.

• Support Staff : Includes RNs, RTs, MAs, LPNs, an RN Supervisor, an Office Manager, and PSRs.

Required Duties:

• Conduct pre-employment physicals.

• Perform return-to-duty testing.

• Conduct DOT physicals.

• Provide care for workers' compensation injuries.

Travel and Reimbursement Information:

• Lodging : Up to $150 per night.

• Travel Bookings : Economy/standard class.

• Travel Timing : Preferably outside of scheduled work hours.
