We are seeking a full-time primary care Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant to work in our practice. The ideal candidate will have clinicalprimary care experience. This is an 100% outpatient position with office hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F. The incoming candidate should becomfortable caring for a geriatric patient population.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.
  • Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
  • Provides leadership in the practice location.
  • Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law
  • Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Requirements


  • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
  • Preferably 3 Years of experience working in a primary care setting
  • State of Florida License Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish- Strongly preferred
  • Managed Care, Medicare Advantage & HEDIS coding experience
  • Bilingual required
